Week 25
I was going to wait until tomorrow to post as I have my next midwife appointment but as I haven't written yet I didn't want a really long post.
As I mentioned in my first ever post I have been quite lucky in my pregnancy, there was a couple of weeks of nausea, and a couple of weeks of horrendous migraines.
I now regret that comment as it is starting to get a bit harder. I have what feels like an achy uterus! and what I think is SPD. Until I go tomorrow I am not sure but my symptoms are right. Every time I go to get dressed or shave my legs in the shower I lift my right leg and it is like lightning down my downstairs.
Also the questions, How are you? Well I could go into all my downstairs pain or just say I'm doing alright. People really don't want to hear all the ins and outs (literally). Or When are you due? The response to my due date is then oh my nephew's birthday is the day before, my brother was born that month, and so on. I do not know these people and don't know the relevance of when their birthday is to my own pregnancy. There will always be someone with birthday on or around a date. This has been my main vice. Maybe my hormones are making me easily annoyed. I have not been rude to anyone just smiled sweetly. Not sure what else to do or say.
On a good side (always end on a good note) I have been getting quite a lot of movement. My husband felt it a few weeks ago but it was really weak and I don't think he really thought much of it. Now however my belly jumps when the baby kicks, it is quite funny, I sit there staring at my belly and giggle every time I can see it move. The kicks are stronger now, its got a good pair of legs. It's still quite early and there is a lot of growing to do so it will only increase especially as it runs out of room.
Not sure what to call the baby for the sake of the blog, we haven't found out what we are having as want a surprise but hate calling it an "it". If you have any cute baby names as an alternative please comment.
Depending on the outcome of the midwife tomorrow I may do another update or save it till next week.
Till next time,
Mumma Milts x
